Funeral Line Australia also offer a range of other services to the public. These services include Graveside Maintenance, Flower Delivery to Graveside, Condolence Cards & Sending Gifts to a Funeral Service.
Graveside Maintenance and Flower Delivery for Graveside
Graveside Maintenance relates to all aspects which contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of a loved ones grave.
A grave is a lasting legacy to those we have lost.
You may require help maintaining the site for many reasons; this can be in your absence, time constraints, inability, or perhaps due to other causes.
Graveside Maintenance can involve, but is not limited to:
- Washing and Cleaning of Headstones, plaques and Monuments
- Washing and Cleaning of Niche Walls and/or Memorial Plagues for ashes
- Flower Delivery – fresh and artificial
- Placement of Mementoes and Memorial items, including;
- Photographs
- Memorial Candles
- Soft Toys
- Incense - Organize Restoration work
- Liaising with Stone Masons and/or Monumental Masons on your behalf
Graveside Maintenance is available for many Victorian Cemeteries, with services starting from $65.00*.
For enquiries relating to Graveside Maintenance, you will need to provide your Funeral Line Australia Consultant with the following information:
Name of Cemetery and Location
- Deceased Full Name
- Your Full Name, Address and Contact Details
- Location of Burial Plot within Cemetery (including Grave number, Row and Section)
- Type of Interment (Grave, Crypt, Vault, Niche Wall)
- Your Requirements
Your Funeral Line Consultant will then advise you of the date and time for which the Maintenance will be undertaken.
Once your requests have been carried out, a photo will be posted or emailed to you so that you can monitor the progress of the site.

Sending Gifts and Condolences to a Funeral Service
Even if you cannot be at the funeral service in person, let the family of the deceased know that you are thinking of them.
Funeral Line Australia will arrange to send your gifts and/or condolences to a funeral service on your behalf.
Sending condolences can involve, but is not limited to:
- Memorial Candles (can also be etched with your loved one’s name and date of passing)
- Fresh Flowers
- Donations to a Particular charity (sometimes in lieu of flowers)
- Condolence Card(s) with your personal message to the family
- White Doves for release
- Butterflies for release
- Balloons
Condolence sending is available for all Funeral Services held in Australia, with prices starting from $15.00. Please Note: A minimum of two business days notice prior to the day of the funeral service is required for delivery.
For enquiries relating to Condolence sending, you will need to provide your Funeral Line Australia Consultant with the following information:
- Location of Funeral Service – including Church or Chapel Name
- Day and Time of Funeral Service
- Funeral Director Company Name
- Deceased Full Name
- Your Full Name, Address and Contact Details
- Requirements
Your Funeral Line Consultant will then advise you of the date and time for which your condolences will be delivered to the Funeral service.
